What is the Fact Act about?
The Fact Act allows the consumers to obtain and request a free credit report, this free credit report can be requested once every twelve (12) months.

FACT Act and credit report
A credit report contains only some information from your credit file, credit report information including the information typically seen by a credit grantor or other party who requests a report on you.
How do I request my free credit report?
You can request your free Fact Act credit report from each of nationwide consumer credit reporting companies (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion).
You can request also via phone (877 Fact Act) which just take 5 minutes. Simply call the number and follow the instruction.
Some states also allow their residents to get one or more free credit reports each year in addition to the free credit report under the Fact Act.
